"We've had 'Opah' for about 6 months now, she is running well, stable at rest, punches into a head sea with ease, the crew are spoilt. Fuel consumption is good, under 40Lph over a working day, 100Lph cruising at 18kn unloaded and about 130Lph at 18kn with full live tanks, 52 crates and 150 pots on the deck.
Great hull design by Global Marine Design. After sales service from Tim and the boys at Fine Entry has been great, outstanding in fact.
Thanks Tim, Michelle and and all the crew at Fine Entry Marine, I'm a happy boy."
In 25 years of operation Fine Entry Marine has constructed 30 vessels for clients from around Australia and overseas in the Oil & Gas, Charter, Fishing industries and Government agencies such as the Fremantle Port Authority and the Department of Police and Emergency Management. Fine Entry Marine were the first company in Western Australia to have successfully purpose built a work/crew vessel for Oil & Gas Industry in the North West of Australia in 2000. Our vessels are built tough, have proven track records in strength and reliability and they maintain their value.
Along with building new vessels, the last few years we have been busy refitting many ex-cray fishing vessels for the oil and gas industry and are now seeing a trend to convert them back to fishing again. This involves extensions, engineering, modifications, insulation, sullage systems, awnings, electrical, electronics and painting.
We work closely with Surveyors and Third-Party representatives to achieve a high standard of survey. We have previous experience with Lloyds, BV Survey, Indonesian Flag Survey and AMSA / NSCV – USL Code Survey.
Fine Entry Marine works closely alongside two independent vessel designers. Global Marine Design with whom we have many year’s experience working together and constructed a range of vessels for the Charter, Oil & Gas & Fishing Industries and Southerly Designs who supplied designs for the Pilot vessel ‘Berkeley Class’ for the Fremantle Port Authority and the Police Patrol Vessel ‘Cape Wickham’ for the Tasmania Police.
These two highly qualified designers are responsible for the design, drawings, stability, structural modifications, foundations, accommodations and performance of the vessels.
